In this article, we will review the standard payout process for a team member with the employee supervisor permission.
Overview
In ourlinQ®, an employee supervisor completes a performance review and/or payout review with each of the team members they manage. They should review lessons learned with team members as well as places their performance has increased or could use improvement.
Completing Performance Reviews
If your organization wants team members to be able to see their reviews in their Performance Management History tab on the team member dashboard or wants reviews completed more often than just when they payout bonuses, performance reviews will be completed in the performance management section.
To complete a performance review, employee supervisors will go to Performance Management > Performance Reviews > and select the Review button as shown in the image below.
Employee supervisors will score their team members on the factors given. Once the review is complete, employee supervisors will save a snapshot of the review as shown in the image below. Once a snapshot has been saved, the review will then appear on the team member's dashboard.
Completing Payout Reviews
Payout reviews are completed every time a payout has been initialized. To complete a payout review, employee supervisors will go to Payout > Payout Review > select the current payout from the dropdown menu > and select Review as shown in the image below.
If a team member has had a performance review within the performance management section, their most recent performance review scores will automatically populate in the payout review. Once the employee supervisor has completed the payout review, they will select the Summary tab and then the Review Complete button as shown in the image below.
Payout Review PDFs
Employee supervisors should be discussing each team members’ payout scores and their payout amount with every team member they supervise. Employee supervisors should also review what projects, contracts, or divisions their team member’s bonus came from and review any lessons learned from those projects, contracts, or the period the bonus covered. A printable PDF is available for every team member’s review by selecting the print icon highlighted below.
